Boat Hulls at the Mosman Park Beach

The  wood fired boat hull installation photographed here at the Mosman Park Beach. March 2011

The large hulls are 115cm ( 45inches)  in length and the small ones are 21cms ( 8.5 in)

They are made from a blend of recycled clay, shredded newspaper and perlite. .

They are wood fired with soda added during  final stages of firing ( 50 hours).

 Titled Journeys End they will be exhibited in the Castaways Sculpture Exhibition, Rockingham in May 2011
