Mundaring Arts Centre

I had the pleasure this week to have 2 days of fun, making native animals with a very enthusiastic group of children, and some of their mums. Greg Crowe and myself had been set the task to have the children make the animals for a display later this year in a Mundaring Community Art project. We hadn't expected the group to be so prolific. Woodfire Tas 2011

Talks, films, forums and exhibitions were the order of the  day for Woodfire TAS 2011 this year. Held in Deloraine Tasmania, 200 like minded potters congregated for 4 days by the meandering Meander River. The 6th annual International Vasefinder Exhibition, curated by Charles Blim Jnr. is now online to view. The awards will be announced in February. On The 8th 9th and 10Th October 2010 a smorgasbord of workshops was held at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Perth, Western Australia. 18 artists participated in this long awaited event.
